Abdullah bin Zayed meets Polish Parliament VP, Minister of Treasury

WARSAW: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, today met with Cezary Grabarczyk, Vice President of the Polish Parliament in Warsaw.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of common concern and ways of strengthening parliamentary relations, and exchanged views on overall regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah emphasised the importance of bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Poland and ways of enhancing them in all fields.

On his part, the Vice President of the Polish Parliament welcomed H.H. Sheikh Abdullah and the delegation accompanying him. He pointed out that this visit reflects the mutual keenness of the leaderships of the two countries on exchanging visits and meetings for further development of bilateral relations in the service of the interests of both friendly countries and their peoples.

Vice President of the Polish Parliament also stressed that his country seeks to develop its bilateral relations with the United Arab Emirates in the service of the interests of both sides.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah also met with Wlodzimierz Karpinski, Poland’s Minister of Treasury, and discussed with him the economic relations between the U.A.E. and Poland and ways of enhancing them, in addition to the cooperation and coordination between their fiscal and monetary institutions.

Sheikh Abdullah noted the development of the relations between both countries and their peoples.

For his part, the Polish Minister of Treasury praised the progress made by the United Arab Emirates in various fields, and stressed his country’s keenness to develop its relations with the United Arab Emirates in all fields.

Asim Mirza Ali Al Rahma, U.A.E. Ambassador to Poland, attended the two meetings.
