Abdullah bin Zayed meets with FMs, senior officials participating in Munich Security Conference

MUNICH, 8th February, 2015 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, yesterday met with a number of Foreign Ministers and senior officials participating in the Munich Security Conference.

Sheikh Abdullah met separately with Tammam Salam, Lebanese Prime Minister, Bert Koenders, Foreign Affairs Minister of the Netherlands, Staffan de Mistura, United Nations Special Envoy to Syria, Federica Mogherini, European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Sebastian Kurz, the Austrian Foreign Minister.

During the meetings, the parties discussed a number of areas of bilateral cooperation and ways of boosting them in various fields, along with reviewing the most important topics on the agenda of the conference and exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.

The Munich Security Conference began last Friday with the participation of heads of states and government, foreign and defence ministers and international experts, and will conclude later today.
