Abdullah Ghobash attends Egyptian Embassy reception marking July 23rd Revolution

DUBAI: Abdullah bin Mohammed Saeed Ghobash, Minister of State, has attended a ceremony held by the Consul-General of Egypt to mark the July 23rd revolution.

Sharif Al Badawi, Consul-General of Egypt in Dubai, said in a speech during the reception that the July 23rd Revolution is an extension of a long history of the struggle of the Egyptian people against injustice and occupation, carrying the promise of hope and freedom, justice and independence of the decision.

He expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the support of the U.A.E. leadership and people to Egypt, adding that this support comes as an extension of the relations of brotherhood and sincere affection, which combines the two brotherly peoples.

Al Badawi expressed his thanks and appreciation to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates for their continued support for Egypt and its people.
