Abu Dhabi Retirement Fund launches Internal Organisation Excellence Award

ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions and Benefits Fund, ADRPBF, has announced the launch of its Internal Organisation Excellence Award, known as “Al Bairaq”.

The initiative comes in line with the directives of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces, to launch a programme of Excellence Awards within the entities of the Government of Abu Dhabi, parallel to the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance. This initiative will help and contribute to the objectives of the Abu Dhabi Government in achieving excellence in every department, which in turn will help by contributing to elevate working standards.

The award programme has four categories: the Excellence in Management Award, which follows nine major criteria pertaining to leadership, strategy, personnel, partnership and resources, operations, feedbacks of pensioners, personnel, society and overall performance. The second category is the Excellent Division Awards, which look at the management and the driving forces in different departments covering Emiratisation, finance, information technology and risk management.

The third category, Excellent Projects Team Award, highlights the work of project teams in criteria like internal improvement, pensioner s service, strategic planning, technical performance and joint tasks, while the fourth category, the Excellent Individuals Awards, honour individual s achievements in supervision, assistance and pensioners’ service, etc.

Speaking on the announcement, Khalaf Abdulla Rahma Al Hamadi, ADRPBF’s Director-General, said, “We are extremely elated to announce the launch of the Al Bairaq Award. These awards bring us in line with the Abu Dhabi Government s vision of inciting administrations to improve the levels of performance, motivate the spirit of transparency and excellence, and provide the divisions and the teams with the right tools to compete in the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance. We wish all the participating teams success.”
