ADP Central Operations wins Arab Excellence Award for Social Responsibility

ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, represented by the Directorate-General of Central Operations, has won the Excellence Award for Social Responsibility from the Arab Organisation for Social Responsibility.

Major-General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director-General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police, said that winning the award is a result of the U.A.E. s efforts to position itself amongst the top countries in security and safety.

He also pointed out that this achievement was made possible due to the instructions and support provided by H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, in enhancing excellence in social responsibility.

Lt. Colonel Zayed Muhammed Al Hajiri and Captain Nasser Abdullah Al Saadi from Abu Dhabi Police received the Golden Shield Award and the Certificate of Excellence on behalf of the Director-General of Central Operations, during the organisation s annual award ceremony, which was held recently in Dubai.

Pierre Moukarzel, President of the Arab Organisation for Social Responsibility, commended the role of the Directorate-General of Central Operations in reinforcing the principles of social responsibility; spreading and implementing the concept of sustainability, environment, occupational health and safety systems; and adopting several policies and initiatives as an enabler in order to implement the concept of social responsibility.
