AJMAN: H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, today received, Michael Corbin, Ambassador of the United States to the UAE, who paid a courtesy visit at the Emiri Court to mark the end of his tenure in the country.
During the reception, which was attended by Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ruler’s Representative for Administrative and Financial Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid welcomed Corbin, praised his efforts in establishing and strengthening close ties between the UAE and the US in many fields, and wished him success in his future tasks.
The two sides also reviewed bilateral cooperation and the means of consolidating relations between the two countries in various economic, cultural, health and political fields.
The US Ambassador expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi and H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, along with other UAE officials, for their cooperation in helping him fulfill his diplomatic duties in the country, which has contributed to the consolidation of the bonds of friendship and strengthening of relations between the UAE and the USA.
Corbin also praised the UAE’s development in various cultural, social, health, educational and urban planning fields The meeting was attended by a number Sheikhs, senior officials, the US Consul-General and a delegation of members of the US Congress.
