Al Ansari Exchange donates AED100,000 to Rashid Centre for the Disabled

ABU DHBAI, 8th February, 2015 (WAM) — In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Al Ansari Exchange, the UAE-based foreign exchange and worldwide money transfer company, recently donated AED100,000 to the Rashid Centre for the Disabled. The move serves as a key initiative to support ongoing efforts to promote the quality of the facilities, services, training and educational programmes being offered at the centre to develop the capabilities and skills of children with special needs.

Rashid Ali Al Ansari, General Manager of Al Ansari Exchange, emphasised the importance of joining hands to offer utmost support for the training and rehabilitation of children with special needs who represent an integral part of the Emirati community. He further pointed out that the UAE has always given earnest attention towards enabling this segment to play an effective and constructive role in society.

Al Ansari added that developing the capabilities, potential and talents of children with special needs serves as a national and humanitarian responsibility which requires further collaboration between the public and private sectors. He commended the pivotal role of the Rashid Centre for the Disabled in providing best-in-class services, treatments and training to 300 students.
