Al Ihsan Charitable Society launches Ramadan Ration project

AJMAN: Al Ihsan Charity Association has launched a host of charitable activities for the benefit of the underprivileged families to meet their needs in the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The Association has started distributing AED 500 Purchase Cards under the Ramadan Ration scheme to 3,000 needy families enabling them to buy Ramadan ration. Around AED 1.5 million will be spent on these cards, in addition, the charity will distribute AED 500,000 worth of foodstuff among 700 additional needy families in Ajman.

In a similar move, the society has announced to distribute 95000 Iftar meals at a cost of AED 1.5 million on eight locations in the emirate of Ajman near mosques and other places.

In response to the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to dedicate the nineteenth of the holy month of Ramadan for giving under the title “Zayed Humanitarian Work Day”, the Society will organise “Annual Orphans Day” and will honour position holders among the orphans.
