Arab Parliament greets UAE on FNC’s 43rd anniversary

CAIRO, 14th February 2015 (WAM) — The Arab Parliament on Saturday greeted the leaders and people of the UAE on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the Federal National Council (FNC).

Speaker of the pan-Arab parliamentary body, Ahmed Al Jarwan, in a statement to WAM, expressed heartfelt congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Speaker of Federal National Council (FNC) on the occasion.

Al Jarwan affirmed that the FNC, which was established on 12 February 1972, has made many achievements inside and outside the UAE, contributed to the consolidation of the UAE Federation and the cohesion between Emiratis in addition to having notable presence in international circles.
