Crown Prince of Ajman emphasises the importance of maintaining fishing sector in Ajman

AJMAN: H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, has reaffirmed his keenness to support the fishing sector in the emirate and his passion to overcome all obstacles faced by fishermen to maintain the profession which they inherited from their ancestors, to provide a decent life for the people of the emirate in various fields and professions, including that of fishing.

During a meeting in his office at the Emiri Diwan with Ahmed Ibrahim Rashid Al Ghamlasa, Chairman of the Ajman Fishermen Association and members of the Board of Directors after the appointment of the new council, H.H. Sheikh Ammar discussed the needs of the fishermen and their conditions and issues with regard to fishing, and the most important demands that will improve the profession and enhance the role of fishermen in the community.

He pointed out his keenness on the development of the Fishermen Association in the emirate and its support and contributions to the development of society in general.

Sheikh Ammar asked the Fishermen Association to follow up on the needs of fishermen and take care of their interests, removing the difficulties they face and provide an economic climate that is safe for fishermen, as fisheries are important pillars in food security, playing an important role in the social and economic development of the country.

Ahmed Ibrahim Rashid expressed his pleasure at meeting with H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, and his keenness on constant communication with the Ajman Fishermen Association, applauding his care and attention to their needs.

H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi issued a decree appointing the Board of Directors of the Ajman Fishermen Association, headed by Ahmed Ibrahim Rashid Al Ghamlasa, and the membership of 6 others.
