DUBAI: Khalifa Al Darrai, Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, DCAS, has signed a cooperation agreement with Essa Al Ghurair, Chairman of Prime Healthcare Group, to provide patients with more efficient and suitable medical treatment.
The cooperation agreement will see DCAS patients transported to use facilities at Prime Hospital, and enable the hospital to access the Patient Information System, allowing the medical centre to determine in advance the right doctors and paramedics available.
The main objectives of the agreement are to speed up the process of transferring patients to the nearest hospital, and provide patients with first-rate services and medical treatment. In line with the new cooperation, Prime Hospital has also said it is committed to facilitate an ambulance station for a quick patient assistance, equipped with the necessary equipment, devices and doctors and/or specialists, and a hotline number for patients and their families.
Dr. Jamil Ahmed, Managing Director of Prime Healthcare Group, said, “This agreement is another step towards cooperation between the public and private sector that will definitely provide better healthcare services to Dubai and UAE citizens.”
