Dubai Foundation for Women and Children discusses cooperation with MRCSSI

DUBAI: Officials of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, DFWAC, and a delegation from the Muslim Resource Centre for Social Support and Integration, MRCSSI, a non-profit Canadian organisation, have discussed cooperation in various fields, especially those of research and exchange of expertise.

Afra Al Basti, Director-General of DFWAC, received the delegation which included Dr. Mohammed Baobaid, Executive Director of MRCSSI.

Al Basti highlighted the importance of cooperation with various local and international entities in the areas of social affairs. She commended MRCSSI’s efforts towards societal issues particularly in the fields of research, looking forward to further cooperation between the both sides.

For his part, Dr. Baobaid hailed DFWAC’s role in children’s issues, domestic violence and human trafficking, expressing his pride in the foundation’s successful model in protecting women and children in the Arab World.

Dr. Baobaid said that he is looking forward to further cooperation with DFWAC and to benefit from its experience in the field of child care.
