DUBAI: The Emirates Group celebrated the UAE’s 43rd National Day today with a range of activities at its headquarters in Dubai.
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group commemorated the occasion with a cake-cutting ceremony.
In addition, Emirates Group staff took part in the celebrations at a unique purpose-built Emirati heritage bazaar. Staff tried out henna art, sampled traditional Emirati cuisine, and were photographed in traditional costumes. A special area for children also offered face painting and other activities.
The seven-story atrium of the building was adorned with UAE flags and banners and Emirates employees wore scarves bearing the flag of the Union.
