FNC discusses its response to President speech

ABU DHABI: The Federal National Council (FNC) will hold its meeting of the fourth ordinary session of the 15th legislative chapter on January 6 at the Council’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi under the chairmanship of Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Speaker of the FNC.

During the meeting, the Council will discuss FNC’s response to the President’s speech at the opening of the fourth ordinary session of the 15th legislative chapter and a federal draft on amending the Federal Law No. 2 for the year 1989 regarding permission for the GCC citizens to carry out retail and wholesale trade in the country, and a general topic about the policy of the UAE’s Securities and Commodities Authority.

The FNC’s members will direct three questions to Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, and five questions to the representatives of the government.

At its seventh session, the Council briefs on a message issued by the government about the recommendation of the Council regarding the question: “Plans and programmes of the Marriage Fund in the implementation of the social policy of the State.”
