FNC, NMC discuss cooperation ties

ABU DHABI: The Federal National Council (FNC)’s Human Resources Department delegation visited yesterday National Media Council (NMC) to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in the area of job performance development.

Director General of NMC, Ibrahim Al Abed, welcomed the delegation, calling for continuous meetings and visits that would further integrate and streamline work efforts in the next period.

For his part, the Director of Human Resources Department at NMC, Ali Al Naboodah briefed the delegation on the NMC’s work mechanism regarding the implementation endorsed human resources regulation by independent federal entities in the framework of unifying the work regulations of human resources.

Al Naboodah familiarised the audience with performance management, budget and proposal submission systems, as well as appointments, promotions, leaves, complaints, objections and role of the NMC as a competent authority for issuance of media licences.

He also commended the constant coordination and cooperation level between the NMC and the FNC, especially in the training, human resources rehabilitation, expertise and knowledge exchange fields.

The delegation expressed satisfaction about the role the NMC, and its keenness on highlighting the country’s image locally and globally.

A number of HR staff and three members of FNC attended the meeting.
