Fujairah Ruler receives members of ITI Executive Council

FUJAIRAH, 22nd February, 2015 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, affirmed that today the UAE has become a hub for thinkers, authors and artists across the world, thanks to its cultural projects, especially in its holding grand cultural and art festivals, as well as in attracting talents and outstanding potentials in all fields.

Sheikh Hamad made his remarks when he met with the president and members of the Executive Council of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) of UNESCO, to mark the 140th meeting of the ITI Executive Council being held in Fujairah from February 20th-22nd.

The Fujairah Ruler said that the emirate has worked to promote its cultural and artistic movement across the globe. The Fujairah Ruler welcomed ITI members in the UAE, reiterating Fujairah’s desire to contribute to making their work successful out of its commitment to support ITI’s works.

Mohammad Saif Al Afkham, President of ITI, along with the executive Council members, extended thanks to Sheikh Hamad for his continuous support of the international organisation and its programmes across the world.
