Governor-General of New Zealand receives credentials of UAE Ambassador

WELLINGTON, 12th February, 2015 (WAM) — Sir Jerry Mateparae, Governor-General of New Zealand, has received credentials of Khalifa Saif Ahmad Humaid Al Mazrouei, UAE Ambassador to New Zealand.

Al Mazrouei conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to the Governor-General of New Zealand.

He stressed keenness of the UAE’s leadership and government to strengthen the bonds of friendship and co-operation between the UAE and New Zealand to achieve the interests of the two countries and the two peoples.

For his part, the Governor-General of New Zealand conveyed his greeting to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and the Emirati people. He also wished the ambassador good luck in his mission.
