Govt’s Youtube channel will boost efficiency

ABU DHABI: A U.A.E. paper has said that it is known that the highly revered Rulers of the U.A.E. leave no stone unturned when it comes to offering the best facilities for citizens and residents.

“In the latest initiative to highlight the fact that the federal government is determined to make its services available to all through the easiest and fastest possible ways, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has launched the official U.A.E. Government YouTube Channel,” said The Gulf Today in its editorial on Tuesday.

The launching of the U.A.E. Government YouTube Channel underlines the wise leadership s efforts to employ state-of-the-art communication technologies for government work.

Interestingly, the channel offers diverse and rich content focusing on the services of federal ministries and entities in addition to disseminating a variety of news on the activities of the federal cabinet. It will be an exclusive official source of news on the federal government to keep its audience updated through news reports, press briefings and conferences as well as preparations for the launch of the government s programmes.

That is not all. The several sections of the channel will be highlighting government services, illustrating procedures of government services using infographics.

Innovation and progressive approach are what have elevated the U.A.E. among the world s best nations. In an article published in The Gulf Today on Monday, Sheikh Mohammed mentioned that the U.A.E. is the world s top destination for talents.

“Touching on the issue of brain drain, he shed light on the phenomenon where the talented are pushed to leave their countries in search of better opportunities and ways for improvement that their countries lack,” added the paper.

Sheikh Mohammed stated that talented people who used to move to developed countries are now drawn to the developing countries where the economy is flourishing such as the U.A.E. that has accomplished higher ranks on international scales, providing the opportunities sought and an environment favourable for skilled professionals, even hailing from developed countries, to utilise their talents.

“Today, standards of living in the U.A.E. are among the highest in the world. As Sheikh Mohammed himself outlined, the U.A.E. has shown that the business of reversing the brain drain is also the business of creating a better life for citizens and residents. Building happiness is, after all, the primary business of good government everywhere”, concluded the Sharjah-based paper.
