Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre launches Ramadan initiative

DUBAI: The Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre has launched its first programme for the Holy Month of Ramadan under an initiative of Hind bint Maktoum bin Al Juma Al Maktoum, wife of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Under the “Huboub Al Khair” (meaning breezes of benevolence in Arabic) programme, the centre will conduct a series of lectures in the first week of Ramadan to educate members of the community on the best ways to benefit from the fasting month of Ramadan to achieve inner peace as well as to promote good behaviour and righteousness.

Abdullah Hamdan Bin Dalmouk, Director of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, said the programme shows the support of Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum for national initiatives aimed at instilling the values of loyalty to the nation and the heritage of the forefathers in the minds of the youth as well as her dedication to the promotion of the country’s culture and civilizational progress.

Director of Events at the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, Ibrahim Abdul Rahim, noted that the Ramadan programme lectures at Al Warqa Mosque by scholars from Gulf countries will target all members of the community including the youth and women and will also address a host of issues including studying, understanding and reciting Quran, promoting good ethics and combating division, disorder and anxiety.
