Hamdan bin Zayed attends Bani Hajar Tribe’s celebration on National Day

ABU DHABI: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, today attended the celebrations of Bani Hajar Tribe at the Armed Forces Officers Club, on the occasion of the UAE’s 43rd National Day anniversary.

A large number of dignitaries and tribesmen attended the ceremony. Colonel Nasser Shay’ea Al Hajri delivered a statement on behalf of the tribe during the ceremony.

He congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Supreme Council Members, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on the occasion.

He said that December 2,1972 is one of the immortal days in the history of the UAE, adding that it represents the starting point of the march of welfare and progress during the rule of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who had positioned the country among the developed countries.
