Hamed bin Zayed attends graduation of 9th batch of Petroleum Institute

ABU DHABI, 24th February, 2015 (WAM) — Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, Member of the Executive Council, has attended the 9th graduation ceremony of Petroleum Institute, at Emirates Palace.

The batch included 209 graduates, of whom 147 hold Bachelor Degrees and 62 post-graduate degrees. Female graduates constituted 45 percent of the total number of graduates.

The event was attended by Abdullah Nasser Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Chairman of Petroleum Institute, Saeed Al Ghafli, Chairman of the Department of Municipal Affairs, Member of the Executive Council, Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Deputy-Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, senior officials and guardians of the graduates, Al Suwaidi said in line with the resolve of UAE leadership to upgrade education to build a knowledge economy, update the quality of education in accordance with international standards, the ADNOC takes keen interest in developing training and education sector.
