Hamed bin Zayed visits Ahmed bin Zayed School in Al Ain

AL AIN, 28th February, 2015 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, said that UAE takes a lot of interest in order to keep pace with the latest international educational systems to develop quality of education and new methodology to translate the directives of the wise leadership regarding promotion of students’ academic and scientific levels.

Sheikh Hamed made these remarks when he paid a visit to the Ahmed bin Zayed School in Al Ain. Sheikh Hamed toured a number of classrooms and was briefed on the role of the school in utilising new sophisticated technologies in the educational field.

He also distributed 200 iPads among the students to encourage them to cope with the latest technology at school and their daily lives. Sheikh Hamed was accompanied by Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, ADEC’s Executive Director of School Operation and other educational officials.

On her part, Dr. Amal Al Qubaisi, the Director General of ADEC, brought to attention ADEC’s keenness to use electronic means to enable students to take aantage of the new technological means in a correct and effective way.
