Hazza bin Zayed meets French premier in Paris

PARIS, 10th February, 2015 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Aisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, on Tuesday met with French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, at the French Cabinet.

During the meeting which took place on the fringes of the working visit of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to France, the two sides discussed several matters of mutual concern and exchanged views on them as well as ways of promoting cooperation and relations in all spheres.

The two sides expressed the interest of their two countries in bolstering cooperation, friendship and relations between the two countries in the service of their two peoples and their aspirations.

H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed conveyed to Prime Minister Valls greetings from Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and his best wishes for further prosperity and progress for the people of France.

Noting the strength of the existing cooperation relations and friendship between the UAE and France, H.H. Sheikh Hazza expressed the desire for further bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries.

For his part, Prime Minister Valls expressed his delight at the fruitful meeting as well as his pride in the solid relations with the UAE.

He expressed appreciation of the role the UAE plays in international humanitarian efforts.

Prime Minister Valls requested H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed to convey his greetings to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid. He expressed his wishes for further progress and growth for the leadership and people of the UAE.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Saif Sultan Al-Aryani, Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, and Madhed Hareb Al Khaiili, Ambassador of the UAE to France.
