”Honey Made in UAE” conference and exhibition kicks off in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI: Under the patronage of Dr. Rashid Ahmad bin Fahad, Minister of Environment and Water, the “Honey Made in UAE” conference and exhibition kicked off today at the Rotana Rahyaan Khalidiya Palace.

Honey is a vital ingredient to the UAE culture. This is a special occasion to celebrate the origins of honey, and explore the tools of growing and testing honey around the UAE, but many participants joined the unique event to taste honey from its different origins, according to the organisers.

Most importantly, the conference encouraged Emirati nationals to try the very special business of honey production, testing, and trading. “Not only is there plenty of demand for honey in the UAE, it connects with the hearts of the UAE culture and if marketed correctly, can create a healthy profit,” they said.
