Indian scholar hails UAE Cultural boom

ABU DHABI: The Secretary-General of the Association of Sunni scholars in India, Sheikh Abu Bakr Ahmed, commended the U.A.E.’s cultural renaissance that has been achieved under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, wishing further progress for the people of the UAE.

During a lecture, organised by the India Social and Cultural Centre, Abu Dhabi, to celebrate the UAE’s 43rd National Day anniversary, Sheikh Abu Bakr described the UAE. as a role model in all development fields, as well as its many contributions to the spread of values reflecting peace and love.

Sheikh Abu Bakr added that the UAE is deemed one of the developed countries in the preservation of security, peace, and its stability, thanks to its prudent leadership since its establishment by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, which is being followed by its Rulers.

He also pointed out the care and interest shown by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to Muslim minorities across the world, hailing the role of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan in supporting international peace.

He added that an international conference about peace will be held next December in India, under the title, “The Sheikh Zayed International Conference for Peace “, with the participation of elite political, social figures and diplomats.

At the end of the lecture, Abu Bakr congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Supreme Council Members and Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates on UAE’s National Day anniversary.
