Israel allows 420 trucks into Gaza

GAZA: Israeli occupation authorities have allowed the entry of 420 trucks loaded with aid and goods for the commercial, agricultural and aid sectors, through the Karem Abu Salem crossing.

Raed Fattouh, Head of the Coordination Committee for entry of goods in the Gaza Strip, said that the Israeli side decided to allow the entry of 51 trucks loaded with cement and gravel for international projects and 100 trucks loaded with gravel for roads infrastructure, in addition to pumping quantities of industrial diesel for Gaza power plant, transportation fuel and cooking gas.

Karem Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing through which goods and fuel enter the Gaza Strip, and the occupation authorities close it on Friday and Saturday of each week.
