Jordan Foreign Minister and his Belgium counterpart discuss region, counter-terror efforts

AMMAN, 7th June, 2015 (WAM) — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs of Jordan, Nasser Judeh, on Sunday stressed the importance of Belgium’s participation in the international coalition to counter extremism.
During a meeting with the Belgian Foreign Minister, Didier Reynders, both foreign ministers discussed international efforts to counter terror and extremist groups, the Jordanian news agency, Petra, reported.
Talks also focused on the latest regional developments, including events in Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Libya, where they highlighted the importance of reaching political solutions to these countries’ conflicts through dialogue.
Also, the two sides reviewed the humanitarian situation of Syrian refugees in Jordan.
