Kazakhstanand#039s Astana Expo-2017 supports UAEand#039s preparations for Expo 2020 Dubai

MILAN, Italy, 2nd November 2015 (WAM) — Kazakhstan’s First Deputy Foreign Minister and Commissioner of Astana Expo-2017, Rapil Zhoshybayev, has stressed that his country supports the UAE’s preparations for hosting Expo 2020 Dubai.
Speaking at a press conference at his country’s pavilion at the global commercial fair Milan Expo 2015, Zhoshybayev said Kazakhstan is ready to share its experience in Expo-2017 with the UAE. He noted that the fair in Astana will focus on the theme “Future Energy”.
The Kazakh official noted that his country will use the 2017 global fair to call for increased use of renewable energy resources. He said the fair will serve as an important platform for innovations in renewable energy, including wind, solar and hydro power.
The UAE’s National Media Council, organisers of the UAE pavilion at Milan Expo, signed an agreement with the national company Astana Ezpo-2017 on participating in the 2017 fair.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Commissioner of Astana Expo-2017, Rapil Zhoshybayev, Chairman of the Board of Astana Ezpo-2017, Akhmetzhan Yesimov, and Salim Al Ameri, Commissioner-General of the UAE pavilion at Milan Expo 2015.
