Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation launches Ramadan iftar project in Beirut

BEIRUT: The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has commenced its Ramadan iftar project in Beirut by distributing meals and Ramadan assistance to over 30, 000 needy Lebanese, displaced Syrian and Palestinian families at camps in Lebanon.

Supervised over by the U.A.E. Embassy in Beirut, the project comes in line with continues campaign to provide the relief aid to those in need.

The aid includes distribution of 15 tonnes of dates to the needy families.

Meanwhile, the beneficiaries thanked the U.A.E. and the Foundation for their good gesture, adding that the relief aid comes in time during the Ramadan amid dire living conditions.
