Khalifa Foundation to provide 1.8 million Iftar meals during Ramadan

ABU DHABI: The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation is providing 1.8 million Iftar meals to be distributed throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan in 110 different regions across the country.

The Foundation has completed all preparations to start the project on the first day of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

In its press release, the Khalifa Foundation stated that its Iftar Project, now being implemented for the seventh year in a row, comes in implementation of the Islamic teachings which call for cooperation, compassion and affection.

The foundation s Iftar project is aimed at helping national underprivileged families increase their income, and urges government departments and corporations to employ national ladies to prepare the meals for Iftar initiatives.
