Khalifa University students showcase their cutting edge ideas at Annual Innovation Exhibition

ABU DHABI: Khalifa University undergraduate students are demonstrating their unique abilities to innovate and expand the knowledge economy in the UAE.

Specialising in a range of engineering programmes, Khalifa University students are conducting research and developing inventions that will have far-reaching impact on the UAE, and perhaps even the world. The event, which took place on Tuesday at the University s Abu Dhabi campus, was dedicated to showcasing senior student s final projects.

The exhibition was an excellent opportunity to witness the student s incredible talent, innovation and creativity. Projects ranged from robotics to unmanned aerial vehicles, mobile applications designed to assist in safe driving, elderly care and even Heat Dissipation and Electronic Cooling System, in addition to spanning a range of areas that are of strategic interest to the government and industry of the U.A.E.

“We are very proud of all of our senior students for their truly innovative final projects,” said Dr. Arif Al Hammadi, Executive Vice President, Khalifa University. “These projects are the culmination of four years of hard work and dedication to their studies. Khalifa University is dedicated to providing our students with a research-based high quality education and preparing them to become the industry leaders of tomorrow. These projects showcase their abilities and demonstrate their dedication to the creation of the knowledge economy as envisioned in the Abu Dhabi 2030 vision.”.

He added that the projects are designed to meet the needs of the U.A.E. s market and the interest of government and industry organisations. They have also been highly ranked in competitions and conferences, both internationally and locally, a testament to their excellence.
