Minister of Energy attends Federal Electricity and Water Authority project launch celebrations

DUBAI: Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority, FEWA, has attended celebrations organised by the authority on the occasion of the launch of a new package of projects that represents a quality leap in services provided to its customers.

The ceremony was attended by Mohammed Mohammed Saleh, Director-General of the Authority, Executives Directors and Directors of Departments and employees.

Al Mazrouei congratulated officials of the authority and its staff for their successful achievements and urged them to exert more effort in the future under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The ceremony witnessed the showing of a short film about the Smart Government’s initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, which aims to encourage government authorities in the country to provide innovative solutions in the field of mobile and portable device applications, to ensure 24 hour-a-day access to government services, with easy procedures to meet the needs and expectations of customers. This comes in line with the directives of the government in the development of government services to achieve a high quality of life for U.A.E. citizens and residents, according to U.A.E.’s Vision 2021.

At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Al Mazrouei, accompanied by Mohammed Saleh, honoured 100 employees of the authority.
