Mohamed bin Zayed receives note from Japan’s Prime Minister for Newspapers only

ABU DHABI, 15th February, 2015 (WAM)–His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received a message from Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, regarding relations between the UAE and Japan, mechanisms to develop them in all fields, as well as the latest developments in the region.

The note was delivered by the Japanese State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Yosuke Takagi, to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, who received him today in Abu Dhabi.

The Japanese minister conveyed the regards of the Japanese Prime Minister to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, and his best wishes to the UAE leadership, government and people.

Sheikh Mohamed hailed the friendship and ties between the UAE and Japan, calling for enhancing bilateral cooperation and expansion of joint work with Japan in a way that serves the interest of both friendly countries, and backs different efforts to tackle extremism, violence and terrorism to achieve regional and international security and stability.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi asked the Japanese minister to convey his regards to the Japanese PM, wishing more prosperity to the friendly people of Japan.

The meeting was attended by Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi’s Court, Japanese Ambassador to UAE, Yoshihiko Kamo, and the delegation accompanying the Japanese minister.
