Mohammed bin Rashid attends 2nd day of Royal Ascot

LONDON: UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has attended today day 2 of the Royal Ascot 2014. The day was also attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Queen Elizabeth II. The events is being held at the renowned Ascot Racecourse and runs until 21st June.

Mustajeeb, owned by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, was crowned winner of the Jersey Stakes, followed by Muwaary, also owned by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The final race of the day, Sandringham Handicap for fillies, was won by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid’s Muteela.

Present were HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikhs, owners and racing fans.
