Mohammed bin Rashid attends part of best practices forum

DUBAI, 2nd November, 2015 (WAM) – Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, today attended part of the 8th Dubai Forum for Government Best Practice, organised by the Dubai Government Excellence Programme.
Sheikh Mohammed, who was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, toured the “Happiness Oasis” exhibition, held as part of the forum, and was briefed on the concepts, initiatives and services offered by the Government of Dubai, with the aim of spreading happiness and welfare among community members.
Sheikh Mohammed applauded the innovative ideas by government establishments and emphasised the importance of the forum as a platform for sharing ideas and expertise.
In his opening speech, Abdullah Al Shaibani, Secretary-General of the Dubai Executive Council, said the forum is inspired by the vision of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.
“This forum enjoys the unlimited support of our wise leadership who are keen on enhancing innovation in government sectors in order to achieve the goals of Dubai 2021 Plan,” he added.
The forum focusses on innovative concepts and applications among Dubai government establishments. It also offer a unique platform to be up-to-date with the world’s best practices in the governmental field.
