Mohammed bin Rashid Charitable and Humanitarian Establishment dispatches 29 aid shipments to 18 countries in 2015

DUBAI, 28th October, 2015 (WAM) – The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable and Humanitarian Establishment, has sent two 2,464 tonnes of in-kind assistance since the beginning of this year through 29 sea and air shipments to 18 sisterly and friendly countries, where the aid was distributed to the needy categories.
This comes within the charity work carried out by the organisation in various parts of the world to help the needy. The move also reflects the UAE’s charitable attitude toward the needy categories around the world.
Counsellor Ibrahim Bumelha, Aiser to the Ruler of Dubai for Humanitarian and Cultural Affairs, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Establishment, said that the humanitarian cargo provided by the Establishment comes in line with the implementation of the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to provide an unlimited support to the needy and victims in the friendly and sisterly countries.
He added, “This, reflects interest of Sheikh Mohammed in providing assistance to all people across the globe for the sake of humanity and fraternity.”
Bumelha thanked the strategic partners for their donations, which had helped the needy categories worldwide.
