MORONEY: Dr. Ikililou Dhoinine, President of the Union of the Comoros; Fawad Mahagi, Vice President of Comoros; Jamal Al Terifi, Advisor at the office of the Ruler; and a number of members of the diplomatic corps of Ambassadors, Consuls, representatives of Charity Association attended the opening of the Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi Hospital in Moroney City, Capital of the Union of the Comoros.
The building of the hospital was funded by the Government of Sharjah and is under the supervision of the General Secretariat of Awqaf.
This generous gesture by the Government of Sharjah was appreciated by officials and citizens in Moroni, in particular, and the Republic of the Comoros in general.
The Sheikh Sultan Al Qassimi Hospital project in Moroni is part of a series of projects carried out by the Government of Sharjah, under the directive of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and is one of the most important projects to have been implemented in the Comoros.
The Government of Sharjah, as per the directives of Dr. Sheikh Sultan, will support the hospital with a budget for three years, paying the salaries of medical and administrative staff.
President of the Union of the Comoros extended his thanks and appreciation to H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan for his support by way of providing development projects in various fields to support his country.
The people of Comoros also extended their thanks and appreciation, and expressed their happiness, praying to Allah Almighty to preserve the UAE, and wished it further progress and prosperity.
