ABU DHABI: The Police Sports Association and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, ADNOC, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation and collaboration between both sides.
The signing ceremony, which took place at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, was attended by Major-General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Police Sports Association.
In his speech on the occasion, Major General Al Rumaithi said, “The Police Sports Association is keen to reinforce partnerships with national institutions in an effort to achieve mutual goals within the sports sector. The MoU with ADNOC falls in line with the police leadership’s vision to provide a suitable environment that supports competitiveness and creativity, building on the Police Sports Association’s cooperation with relevant institutions to develop the sports ecosystem across the country.” The MoU was signed by Colonel Mohammed Hamid Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Secretary-General of the Police Sports Association and Saeed bin Saif bin Butti Al Qamzi, ADNOC’s Administration Director.
The ceremony was attended by Mohammed Shelaiweh Al-Qubaisi, ADNOC Human Resources Director, Rashid Ali Hamad Al Zaabi, ADNOC Public Relations Director, and a number of Police Sports Association board members.
