President of Sudan arrives in UAE

ABU DHABI, 21st February, 2015 (WAM) — President of Sudan Omer Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir arrived in Abu Dhabi today on an official visit to the UAE, which will last for several days.

He was received upon arrival at the Presidential Airport by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi Al Dhaheri, Minister of Justice and Head of the Honorary Mission, Ahmed Juma Al Za’abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, a number of senior officials, Sudanese Ambassador Ahmed Yousif Mohammed Al Siddiq and UAE Ambassador to Sudan, Hassan Ahmed Sulaiman Al Shihi.

During his visit, President Al Bashir will hold talks with the UAE officials on bilateral ties between the two fraternal countries. He is accompanied by a high level delegation which includes Salah Al Din Wansi, Minister of Presidential Affairs, Lt. General Abdul Rahim Mohammed Hussein, Minister of Defence, Ali Ahmed Karti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, senior officials and businessmen.
