President, VP and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince offer condolences to Egyptian President on execution of 21 Egyptians by Daesh

ABU DHABI, 16th February, 2015 (WAM) — President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of condolences to the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, where he strongly condemned the ugly crimes of mass murder that were committed by the terrorist organisation, Daesh, against 21 Egyptian citizens in Libya.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa also stressed the UAE’s solidarity and full cooperation with Egypt, and said that the UAE will mobilise all its means in support of Egypt’s efforts in the fight against terrorism and violence until it is defeated and eradicated.

His Highness Sheikh Khalifa said, “We are with you and by your side in any steps and measures you take to eradicate terrorism, and all terrorist organisations.” Sheikh Khalifa went on to assert, “This barbaric and heinous crime strengthens our will and resolve, and reinforces our cooperation with our allies in facing the threats of the criminal organisation, Daesh, in Libya, and weeding them out of the whole region.” His Highness the President expressed his condolences to the Egyptian leadership, its people, and the familes of the victims.

Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, sent a similar cable to President El -Sisi.

His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent a cable of condolences to the Egyptian President.
