SEC hears report on prospective government employees who will join national service

Sharjah: The Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) in its regular meeting today reviewed progress of work on a number of projects aimed at serving members of the public in the emirate.

President over by H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and SEC Chairman, in attendance of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of SEC, the meeting took note of a report submitted by Tareq bin Khadem, Chairman of the Human Resources Department, on the Sharjah government employees who will join the third batch of the national service.

Mohamed Ali Al Noman, Chairman, Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, gave a presentation on the Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) in the economy of Sharjah. The TSA is a new statistical instrument developed by the UN in 1993 to measure the size of economic sectors that are not defined as industries in national accounts.

The meeting discussed other topics on its agenda and took appropriate actions on them.
