SEHA’s strategy for environmental safety wins Golden Award for Excellence

ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has won the Golden Award for Excellence for its outstanding efforts in the fields of health and environmental management.

At an exclusive event organised by the Arab Organisation for Social Responsibility in Dubai, the award was received by SEHA Planning and Building Maintenance Executive Director, Mohammed Hassan Al Zaabi.

SEHA’s initiatives towards establishing international standards of occupational safety and health across its medical facilities have been paramount to their growth strategy and in line with the Government of Abu Dhabi’s Vision for 2020.

Meanwhile, SEHA’s efforts toward a sustainable knowledge-based economy that maintains global standards of excellence in service delivery were further encouraged when the Joint Commission for International Accreditation (JCIA) granted 38 SEHA run medical institutions the Golden Seal of approval over the course of the last few months.

“Our medical facilities are committed to the cause for environmental protection and we have continuously and diligently followed the Abu Dhabi Health Authority’s legislation and policies in the matter,” SEHA’s Director of Franchise Business, Shamsa Atiq Al Mohairi, said.

“Our adherence to domestic and international policies guarantees the provision of services according to global standards. It also ensures proper waste management and an environment that is free of disease,” she added.
