Sharjah Human Resources Department places thousands of Emiratis in government and private sectors

SHARJAH: The Department of Human Resources in Sharjah announced that it had recruited 3,375 UAE nationals in the government and private sector last year.

Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and Head of the Human Resources Department, said that this achievement embodies H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah’s vision to provide to the national cadres educational and professional support besides job stability so that the UAE nationals can take upon responsible roles and contribute towards the country’s developmental march.

The Head of the Human Resources Department said that the nationals were employed on the basis of job requirements and the needs of the labour market, and noted that the department has implemented a number of cooperation agreements with various private institutions, under the supervision of the Sharjah Executive Council, with an aim to provide the Emiratis any training they may need to help secure employment for them and provide them with a decent life.
