ABU DHABI: H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, has given directives to allocate 50 percent of places at the second edition of the Customer Service Excellence Diploma Programme for the interior ministry’s partners including the staff of federal ministries and institutions and local departments.
Emphasising the UAE top leaders’ keen interest in ensuring the well-being of nationals and expatriates alike, H.H. Sheikh Saif urged the graduates of the programme to commit themselves to dealing with the public in a civilised manner and to elevate customer service to fulfill the goals of UAE Vision 2021 which include promoting the reputation and stature of the UAE.
H.H. Sheikh Saif was speaking at the graduation ceremony of the first batch of Customer Service Excellence Diploma Programme who come from different police services.
Expressing his pride in the first batch of holders of the Professional Customer Service Excellence Diploma, H.H. Sheikh Saif said that cooperation between the national institutions serves the people and customers and that attracting and training excellent staff and providing them with opportunities to show their innovation and creativity is among the duties of the government.
During the ceremony, the Ministry of Interior celebrated the graduation of a number of highly-skilled national cadres working in customer service, after passing the requirements of the programme.
Represented by the Customer Service Department, the ministry earlier launched the Customer Service Excellence Diploma programme with the participation of 376 employees from various police sectors and 38 staff members from the Customer Service Centers at 13 ministries and federal authorities; in cooperation with a major world-renowned expertise firm in the field of customer service development.
