Sheikha bint Saif visits Emirati-Jordanian refugee camp in Marjeeb Al Fahood in Jordan.

Amman, 9th February, 2015 (WAM) — A delegation from Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Humanitarian and Scientific Foundation has visited the Emirati-Jordanian refugee camp in Marjeeb Al Fahood in Jordan.

Led by Sheikha Sheikha bint Saif Al Nahyan, wife of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Aisor to the UAE President and Chief Patron of the Foundation, and Vice-President of the Foundation, the delegation was welcomed by Ahmed Mubarak Al Junaibi, leader of the UAE relief team and manager of the camp, who said the visit had a good impact on the aid workers’ morale.

Al Junaibi gave a presentation on the health, educational and nutritional services provided by the UAE relief team to the Syrian refugees.

Sheikha Sheikha conducted a field tour of some basic facilities in the camp and then distributed relief assistance donated by the Foundation as part of the UAE Compassion campaign, launched by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to provide winter aid to Syrian refugees.

Sheikha Sheikha said she sensed great humanitarian and charitable initiatives carried out by the UAE to assist Syrian refugees in Jordan.
