Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber hails Egypt

ABU DHABI: Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State has expressed the appreciation of the U.A.E. to the successful presidential elections in Egypt that ushers in a new era for stability and development, commending the Egyptian people for the mission accomplished.

He said in a statement that he had met a number of Egyptian officials, including President Abdel Fatah el-Sisi when he was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, noting that he has a vision and clear view about different issues. Al Jaber cited that el-Sisi contributed effectively to speeding up of the implementation of many U.A.E. development projects in Egypt, with the aim to allow Egyptian citizens benefit from those projects.

“I’m confident Egypt is now stronger more than ever before, and ready to tackle challenges, thanks to great people of Egypt and support from the sisterly and friendly countries to Egypt,” he said.

Al Jaber said His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces confirmed that the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, back the initiative of The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, to hold conference for recovery of Egyptian economy.

He congratulated el-Sisi for winning the confidence of Egyptian people who elected his to the presidency.
