Sultan bin Khalifa holds talks with Senegal’s president on investments

DAKAR, 4th February 2015 (WAM) — H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Aisor to the UAE President, has held talks with Macky Sall, President of Senegal, on matters of common interest in the field of investment in projects launched as part of the Senegalese government’s plans for the country’s promising tourism sector.

H.H. Sheikh Sultan is in Dakar on an official visit at the invitation of President Sally.

The two sides also discussed economic, trade and investment matters and ways of enhancing relations between the two countries and expanding the avenues of bilateral cooperation and coordination.

H.H. Sheikh Sultan conveyed to President Sally the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

President Sally requested Sheikh Sultan to convey his greetings to Their Highnesses.

Sheikh Sultan and President Sally concluded their meeting by exchanging mementos bearing the symbols of the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Senegal’s Prime Minister, Mohammed Abdallah Boun Dionne, Minister of Tourism and Air Transport, Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr, Special Presidential Aisor, Abdullah Abah, and Diplomatic Aiser to the President of Senegal, Oumar Demba Ba.

Also present were Ahmed Ateeq Habroush Al Rumaithi, Director of the Office of H.H. Sheikh Sultan, CEO of SBK Holding, Eyhab Jumean, and Chief Operating Officer of Falcon Aviation Services, Mahmoud Ismael, as well as the UAE Ambassador to Senegal, Mohammed Salim Al Rashidi.

While in Senegal, Sheikh Sultan, visited the convention centre and the new airport under construction in Dakar. He was briefed by the officials on the two projects.

He was accompanied by Ambassador Al Rashisdi and Aisor Demba Ba.
