MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has issued Royal Decrees ratifying the Sultanate of Oman’s joining of the Near East Plant Protection Organisation (NEPPO).
The Article 01 of Royal Decree No. 70/2014 ratifies the Sultanate of Oman’s joining the NEPPO’s membership in accordance with the Agreement for the Establishment of the NEPPO as stated in the official version, according to the Oman News Agency, ONA.
Article 02 instructs the authorities concerned to undertake procedures to join the NEPPO in line with the provisions of the aforementioned Agreement.
Article 03 states that the Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and that it shall take effect on its date of issue.
Another Royal Decree, No. 72/2014, endorses the petroleum agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman, Medico Arabia Ltd and Intaj LLC for Block 56, signed on November 20th, 2014.
Article 01 endorses the aforementioned petroleum agreement, while Article 02 states that the decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and that it shall take effect on its date of issue.
