TRA participates in the Khalifa Project in World Languages

ABU DHABI: The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, TRA, has announced its participation as a co-sponsor of the Khalifa Project in World Languages.

The national project, entitled “Thank You, Khalifa”, launched by the Sultan bin Zayed’s Culture and Media Centre, is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President’s Representative and Chairman of the Sultan bin Zayed Culture and Media Centre.

In cooperation with Emirates Identity Authority, the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs and Abu Dhabi Media, the Khalifa Project in World Languages is comprised of the Biggest Heritage Gate, the Biggest ID Card in the World dedicated to His Highness the President and the Largest National Operetta.

Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, TRA Director-General, said, “The TRA is honoured to be an official participant in the encyclopedia and memorial project, Khalifa in World Languages, to commemorate our love and appreciation for our leader Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as part of the UAE’s 43rd National Day celebrations. Through the Sultan bin Zayed Cultural and Media Centre, the role of TRA in the UAE is emphasised on a regional and international level, as a pioneer member of the UAE’s success and progress.” This initiative is a reflection of genuine gratitude and love of loyal UAE nationals and residents for the wise leadership of His Highness the President and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Khalifa Project in World Languages is a unique national initiative that aims to express allegiance to the leader through writing his name in all languages of the world, and is also a bid to highlight the UAE’s culture and rich national identity.
