U.A.E. partakes 21st World Petroleum Congress in Russia

ABU DHABI: U.A.E. is for the first time participating in the World Petroleum Congress (WPC), the world s premier oil and gas forum since 1933, which 21st edition is being organised in Moscow, Russia, between 15-19 June under the theme ‘Responsibly Energising a Growing World.’ Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy is leading the U.A.E. delegation to the 21st WPC after following a resolution by the cabinet on U.A.E.’s joining the World Petroleum Congress.

During 21st WPC, Minister Al Mazrouei chaired a panel discussion on the role of technology in drawing the future of oil industry.

Some 5000 delegates including 30 ministers and 400 CEOs and heads of organisations from more than 80 countries are taking part in the current WPC in Russia.
